The amount of donations a candidate receives is a direct indication of his level of corruption.
The most corruptible candidates receive the most money.

I'm certainly not saying Pat Rose is corrupt. I have no evidence of that. I'm sure that much of his campaign income is legitimately from individuals that just like his looks or whatever. Remember. . . I'm not just another pretty face.

Pat Rose brags about exceeding $500,000 in campaign contributions. I would be ashamed. Just what is he selling? Power? Influence?  For a candidate to vote on an issue related to an entity from which he has taken "campaign contributions" is an outrage and the money becomes a bribe. I found out early in business that you can't accept gifts from someone without being beholden to that person. Would you pay out this kind of money and not expect something in return?

You'll see among his larger contributors are:

John Adams -$1500. Mr. Adams is a current Dripping Springs school board member who maintains that the school board isn't raising taxes nearly fast enough.

Clyde "Toll Roads" Alexander, a state rep from Athens. - $2000.00

American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees. - AFL-CIO. - $500. These guys and        unions like them are why our grandchildren will be working full time to pay off our debt.

Armbrust & Brown -  $1000.00 Lawyers. Enough said.

       Ms. Sabrina Brown - $500.00 - Lobbyist

       Melody Chatelle - $500.00 - Lobbyist

        John Lewis - $500.00 - Lobbyist

A good example of how  well Pat Rose can pick his political help is Mark Littlefield. Mr. Littlefield was his campaign manager and recipient of many campaign dollars (see finance report above) for who knows what. Here is a portion of an article on him from The Burnt Orange Report:

"Mark Littlefield submitted, by one count, over 990 forged signatures to the Hays County Elections Office during a drive to get an Austin Community College campus built in San Marcos.  The forged signatures and petition can be viewed at http://www.sanmarcosfirst.org/acc/index.cgi .  Mark Littlefield was paid more than $4,000 dollars to complete the petition legally.  Unfortunately he is now under investigation by both the Attorney General’s office and the Hays County District Attorney’s office."

Rose has consistently voted for toll roads. He signed the final bill authorizing the toll roads.

Mr. Rose recently sent me a newsletter begging for used computers for his "staff" to use. I emailed him suggesting that he use some of the $500,000 in "campaign contributions" for that purpose and let people give their old computers to some worth while cause. He didn't write back.
